The weekend before the 4th of July, Nicole and I hiked over the Continental Divide and spent two nights at Columbine Lake in the Indian Peaks Wilderness. The trails on the east side of the Divide tend to be busy, so we started out early, and make it to the lake in the early afternoon. Spent the afternoon lazing around. Day 2, our objective was to climb up Mt. Neva, which towered over the east side of the lake. Day 3, wake up slow and head back over the Divide.

I am a software engineer at Google, Inc. Working on the Google Earth. Before joining Google in 2012, I was a computer scientist and group leader at Makai Ocean Engineering, Inc. Located on the windward coast of Oahu in Hawaii. At Makai, I worked on a scientific visualization and analysis software package targeting ocean and atmospheric scientists called Makai Voyager. The KeckCAVES provides an intellectual and computational framework for the visual exploration, manipulation, and creation of data and models. We develop and use visualization tools to gain insights into problems that are difficult to address using other techniques. KeckCAVES Virtual Reality Software is now available for Gaming Headsets. The Augmented Reality Sandbox was one of the best and weirdest things seen at the Augmented World Expo 2017.

Our research group is interested in computer vision. And modeling of cyber-physical systems.
