I noticed that the webpage also said " It also serves as an important representative species for research on the Compositae, one of the most diverse and successful families of Angiosperm plants." They also said " The Lettuce Genome Sequencing Project has been a collaboration between the Michelmore lab at UC Davis and the BGI, Shenzen. It was supported by the Lettuce Genome Sequencing Consortium. The data have been generated as a result of the Compositae Genome Project." The meta header had lettuce genome resource as the first optimized keyword. This keyword is followed by lettuce genome, lettuce, and genome which isn't as important as lettuce genome resource. The other words lgr.genomecenter.ucdavis.edu used was lettuce genomics. compositae is included but will not be viewed by web engines.
